My Zumba Diary :)

I have always wanted to share about my Zumba experience and I finally have the time to do it now! :D

I was once a fat girl, although I still think I am one now. hahah.
I was, you know, this fat.

March 2013.

I started to have the thoughts to work-out and get a little bit thinner in May/June 2013.
I did the searching online and I discovered something called Zumba.
At first, I thought it was something similar to Aerobics, which I did in my university last time.
But after watching the Zumba videos in Youtube, I started to understand that it is not the same as the aerobics.

I found out that there's Zumba class in my lil hometown.
So, I decided to try it out!
I went to the class in June 2013.
IT WAS FUN!!!!!!

August 2013.

I fell in love with Zumba.
It has a lot to do with all the dancing & shaking. 
I felt really shy in my first few months of the lesson. 
But then, I got used to it.
I danced at home, almost everytime when I was free.
I downloaded the songs and enjoyed dancing at home.


August 2014

November 2014

I used to eat a lot of junk food. I mean, A LOT.
Icecreams, chocolates, tidbits & etc.
Ever since I took up Zumba lessons, I was determined to stop eating junk food.
I started to live healthily.
I eat a lot, I mean A LOT of vegetables and fish nowadays.
I eat fruits like banana and papaya to improve on my metabolism.
And prunes are my favourite tidbits nowadays, 
also because it has dietary fibres that can improve my metabolism x)

My journey to become healthier is never easy.
My body couldn't take it and I hurt my knee.
I had soft tissues injury on my left knee.
I stopped dancing for few months and it was unbearable.

Little advice to all Zumba learners:
Do wear your proper shoes while dancing!
Wear your knee protectors to protect your knees!
Do not force yourself to dance every moves in class!
Make sure your body is ready to it! ;)

I stopped dancing from September 2014 - February 2015.
Life sucks without Zumba, so I actually did some dancing, even though I was not supposed to!


Thank God, I am back to my Zumba class now!

I am Number 5!

From 65++kg to 46kg.
Mission accomplished!

Zumba is certainly one of the exercises that can make you sweat and make your heart pumps.
You dance and you burn your calories.
But still, we all need a proper eating habit in order to stay healthy or fit.
Eat more fruits & vegetables & fish! Say no to junk food! Hahah.

Anyway, do exercise & eat healthily okay, folks!
